The “Remote Environmental Monitoring” is comprehensive site monitoring and control systems for small hybrid power systems. Such hybrid power systems are usually found in applications such as GSM sites where grid power is not reliable or not available at all.

Power is supplied to these sites using a combination of renewable power supplies, such as photo voltaic panels (solar panels), wind turbines, fuel cells and diesel generators. In some cases intermittent grid power is also used.

To monitor and control such a hybrid power system requires special type of controller, and the “site view” is being developed as such a platform.

The heart of the “site view” system is a single board micro processor based controller equipped with all the hardware and firmware functionality to monitor and control a hybrid power system.
